PDX Organics
Project Brief
PDX Organics is a medical and recreational OLCC marijuana production company located in Portland, Oregon. Their mission is to help connect people with the healing powers of cannabis. They needed original content, images, a logo, business cards, and a one-page responsive website.
The Logo Design
The owners wanted a logo that was natural, organic, and captured the essence of Portland. The goal was to create a simple yet bold logo that would look great across all media types. A tree best symbolized the company's brand - health, purity, freshness, strength, and growth. The yin and yang we felt best represented the different owners - two opposites contained within a whole. A modern sans-serif typeface was chosen to make the logo strong and impactful.

The Website
It was important to showcase the company's products in a visually stunning way so I carried out all of their photography and photo editing. I chose to capture vibrant greens for the site's hero images and opted for plain white backgrounds for the product photos. The owners wanted to include their company story and an outline about their growing practices. I helped by creating all new original content using SEO best practices and tailoring it to their unique business goals. I coded this website using Materialize framework, HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript.
